Exodus 40:38
For the cloud of the LORD was on the
tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house
of Israel throughout all their journeys.
God's presence tabernacled with His people
night and day in the form of cloud and fire. Years later, God's Son would
tabernacle with His people night and day in the form of flesh and blood. Upon the Son's
ascension, He sent God's Spirit to tabernacle with His people inside their flesh and blood.
