Psalm 56
In God I trust. I will not be afraid. What
can man do to me? It is not a sin to be afraid. But it can be sinful if our
fears prevent us from doing the right thing or prompt us to do the wrong thing.
In those moments, it is helpful to remind ourselves of what is true: God is
trustworthy. Whatever man is threatening me with will be over soon enough, but
life with God will last forever.
