day no. 12,828: Jesus was (and is) a preacher‏

Don't believe me?

Take Driscoll's word for it.

Don't believe him?

Take Jesus' words as recorded by Matthew for it.

Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Don't believe Matthew?

Would you listen to Mark?

Mark 1:14-15

14 Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

Still not convinced?

Maybe you'd prefer someone other than Jesus, John, Matthew, Mark, me or Driscoll.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

Don't like preachers?

Jesus was a preacher.

You don't get to have a Jesus who doesn't also preach to you.
