5 years ago today I was in a hospital in Ames holding my first son for the first time.
Today is his golden birthday. 5 years old on the 5th of December.
I love my son.
I am so proud of Atticus. He is such a delight. He is sweet and kind and selfless (sometimes).
He knows how to have fun and he knows how to organize things.
He is a kid after my own heart and he recently (last Wednesday, Nov. 27) he asked Jesus to take his heavy burden of sin from him in order to be free to love and live for God.
May God grant him humility to repent of his own wisdom and faith to fall fully upon Jesus for forgiveness and ferocity in plowing forward.
