My wife has type o negative (O-) blood.
She is a universal donor.
She can give her blood to anyone.
I have type a negative (A-) blood.
I can only give blood to another A - and an AB+ (since they are universal receivers)
I can get blood from another A - or my wife (who is a universal donor, O-)
All of my kids have my wife's blood type.
EXCEPT for Finneas.
He is the only A- in the whole lot.
So I'm happy we are producing a bounty of universal donors, but I'm kind of excited to have at least one kid who has my blood (specifically) running in them.
