day no. 12,733: ever danced with the devil?

Ah, a nice Saturday morning with Oswald produced this keeper.

...the penalty of sin is that you gradually get used to it, until you finally come to the place where you no longer even realize that it is sin.... The deadliest attitude of the Pharisees that we exhibit today is not hypocrisy but that which comes from unconsciously living a lie.

We assume naivete excuses responsibility.

Agreeing with the right thing while doing the wrong thing is the simplest measure of hypocrisy.

Agreeing with the wrong thing without realizing it is wrong is a deep well of sin, muck and mire.

The danger of dancing with the devil is not merely the company you are keeping, but the ease of comfort you find in keeping it.
