Deuteronomy 22:5
A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.
What many call a complementarian position amounts to egalitarianism with a fake mustache. It's close, but not quite. It has the appearance of holding the line, but underneath and in practice it is more akin to a blur than to anything solid.
It boasts in saying that it believes that you must have a beard in order to be an elder or preacher, but then adds an asterisk with a note in the margins indicating that some choose to grow their beards on top of their heads.
