He who gathers in summer is a prudent son,
but he who sleeps in harvest is a son who brings shame.
God provides certain opportunities during certain seasons. If you fail to plant certain seeds during certain season, the likelihood of seeing any fruit decreases significantly if planted outside of the typical growing season. It isn't to say that God can't allow growth to take place in the form of unseasonably warm or precipitous weather, but to say that the growing season is still the preferred window for anyone paying attention. Different things grow better during different seasons.
