Psalm 33
It is only fitting that people who love the
Lord would sing and shout for joy. Who has more reason to be celebratory than
those who are loved by their Maker? We should be as creative in finding new
ways to sing of His praise as we are in finding new ways to spend money. It is
natural for those made in the image of their Creator to be creative for His
glory. There is so much to sing about. For example, the fact that God's Word is
living and powerful, capable of building and sustaining whole worlds by His
breath. The more we meditate on Who He is, the more we will have to sing about.
There is not a boring fact about Him. He is worthy of our praise and we do not
have to search hard to find something to sing about when we take a moment to
turn our thoughts toward Him.
