day no. 14,350: everywhere something dead

Exodus 12:29-30
At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead.

Jesus is a member of the Trinity. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is here and actively involved in the striking down of the firstborn of Egypt. Do not delegate this to the Father alone. Every home came face to face with death on this evening. Either the sign of the slaughtered Lamb on the doorposts or the lifeless bodies of firstborn sons were seen in each and every house.
