Exodus 13:16
…all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.
All the firstborn of men and animals belong
to God, but men are redeemed. Jesus is described as the firstborn from the
dead, the first man to be resurrected in the manner that all who follow Him
will one day experience. Jesus was redeemed from death. He is bringing many
sons to glory and all those who are found in the firstborn Son will be
redeemed.
