sticking it to Moses by sticking it to themselves. You don't need secret arts
to do what is already happening, you just need to sit back and watch it happen.
That's like me saying that I make the sun rise from the east each morning by my
secret arts.
DO you make the sun rise in the east each morning by your secret arts? I guess I never thought to ask if that had something to do with it.
ReplyDelete(Although, the Jannes and Jambres thing is like watching someone get the flu, and then saying you're summoning the flu in yourself by your secret arts. Like, first of all, who would want to give themselves the flu? And second of all, I think the flu was already going around... So, I guess you could call it a 'win' by a serious stretch of the imagination and some pretty heavy denial of reality.)
