follower the leader who follows‏

Numbers 11:14

I can’t carry all these people by myself. They are too much for me.

Israel proved to be too much for Moses to handle so God gave him 70 godly friends to assist him. Even the best men need help. Some may be able to shoulder more weight than others, but none can shoulder all of it by themselves.

Take a moment to consider your pastor and the responsibilities he (it better be a "he"!) has to shoulder.

If he is a good and godly pastor, he will have good and godly elders around him.

This is not about ego for him, this is about God getting glory from whomever He chooses.

Numbers 11:27-30

27A young man ran and reported to Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”
28 Joshua son of Nun, assistant to Moses since his youth, responded, “Moses, my lord, stop them!” 29 But Moses asked him, “Are you jealous on my account? If only all the Lord’s people were prophets and the Lord would place His Spirit on them!” 30 Then Moses returned to the camp along with the elders of Israel.

The best leaders know that they need help and seek it from God.
The best leaders are the best followers of God's Word and ways.
