The essence of masculinity is assaulted in discovering one's own wife could not find you man enough. It is so offensive that even the suspicion of it unravels a man. So here we see a safeguard against a man who insists on being suspicious or a man who is being cucked over. The elixir itself is here prescribed, but the potency of its side effects depend entirely on the Spirit of truth. If a woman swears an oath and comes out the other side unscathed, the man must accept it. If a woman swears an oath and yet still suffers, her plea must be dismissed.
