Leviticus 19:13
You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob
him. The wages of a hired worker shall not remain with you all night until the
morning.
It is robbery to withhold something you owe
from someone. If you owe someone a day's wages, do not wait to pay them until
it's convenient for you. If they are a hired hand, put their payment in their
hand at the completion of their assigned task.
