day no. 12,792: your axe

Ecclesiastes 10:10

If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge,
he must use more strength,
but wisdom helps one to succeed

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

FALSE.

It is the most natural instinct in the world to swing harder when the tree is resisting the edge of your axe.

It is natural and stupid.

Wisdom helps one to succeed.

Wisdom looks common logic in the face and punches it in the throat!

Don't be a dope.
Sharpen your axe.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is set the axe down to sharpen it.

Trees are not impressed by blunt force.
