Psalm 112:1-2
Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, That delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth.
If the Lord is your strength, your seed shall be strong. If you worship the Lord Almighty, your sons will be mighty. If you fear the Lord your God, your children will be feared. Those who delight in the Law will delight to see his offspring enforce the laws. The man who fears God above need not fear anyone on the earth below. Good seed will grow to fill the field and the man of God will multiply the children of God in the land.
Psalm 127:3-5
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
