Having and holding to a confessional standard is not an easy sales pitch, but the consequences of not having or holding to a confessional standard is the stuff exciting plots are made of. Who has the authority and responsibility to act is not a topic that people tune in for, but conflicts over authority and a lack of responsibility often produce story grip.
