Guns were in the garden of Eden. All the materials needed to make a gun were there. It took years of innovation and creative ingenuity to create the first gun, but it only took the Word of God to create the man. God made the dirt by His Word and from the dirt He made the man. Into that man He lent His breath and he became a living being. God makes men in His image and those men then make other things.
Masculinity has no short cuts. Workarounds are by nature fake and gay. One could say they were conceived that way. They are effeminate. They ignore the regularly assigned responsibilities of God while hoping to retain the rewards of those responsibilities. No one can be a man by accident or by force. While the glory of men may be their strength, a man cannot secure that glory by their strength. That glory is given to him by God, just as his strength is. So, if a man gets a gun in order to flex, he is not on a quicker path to masculinity as much as he is now on a slippery slope to soft town. Trying to force someone else to respect you is like trying to win a humility contest. If you win, you lose. Respect is granted, not taken and manhood is counted cheap where it can be purchased at the point of a pistol.
A true man may carry a gun. In fact, by my math, he perhaps even ought to, but he is not a man because he carries power in a holster. He is a man if he has power from above. He is not made manly by relying on a sidearm anymore than he is made more husbandly by acquiring a side chick. Artificial strength does not a strong man maketh. A strong man may leverage the strength of artificial power, but he can only remain a true man if he carries it humbly and responsibly.
