Let the high praises of God be in their throats
and the two-edged swords in their hands
The godly are called to have songs in their mouths and swords in their hands, words of praise on their tongues and weapons of warfare at the ready. The two go hand in hand. High praise for God should manifest in high enrollment in His army. A desire to see Him glorified should produce willing soldiers ready to die for Him and striving to live for Him, to fight for His acclaim and against that which diminishes His claim.
