What has been is what
will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new
under the sun.
We are not the first
people under the sun to feel insecure, to want to be informed, to feel nervous
about our governance, to be scared of foreign invaders, to fear our neighbors'
immorality, to desire to be healthy, to desire to see beauty, to want to be
happy, etc… We are just the first to do these things with data plans, web cams,
international flights, social media, fast cars, lipstick and fast food. The
ways we go about things may change, but the things we go about never do.
