The rule of men is inescapable. Man is the head, not the tail; and even if he lowers himself to the position of tail, he is the tail that wags the dog. He cannot not lead. Even in his submission, he is leading. Even in his surrender, he is steering.
Patriarchy is nonconsentual, it just is.
God does not need your permission to implement His designs and He does not need to explain Himself to you.

day no. 17,456: matriarchy is emasculinity

Patriarchy is woven in to the world by God's design. When you try to keep it down, it is like trying to keep a beach ball under water. It can be done, but not without a constant force being applied to it. And all that force has to come from somewhere and takes force away from efforts that could be put toward going somewhere. A boat that is sinking must constantly be pitching water. It is survival mode. But that same boat cannot spend any energy on rowing where it wants go. Instead, it is tossed back and forth by the wind and the waves while it focuses its efforts on not sinking.

Matriarchy is the result of lazy men. Instead of doing the hard work of leading, they do the hard work of trying to prop women up. As mentioned before, this still requires a good deal of effort, but it doesn't take the kind of effort leading requires. Lazy men would rather lay on top of the beach ball than paddle a boat somewhere.

Matriarchies are not controlled by women, they are maintained by weak men.

Where women are leading, men are conceding. And this, according to Christ, is a curse.

The widespread and increasing presence of estrogen in leadership roles is a clear sign of God's curse on a nation.
Beware the woes of womenion. Where women are the dominion, men have forfeited their mission. Matriarchy is emasculinity.

day no. 17,453: women's rights and lefts

Going into any given sport, the fundamental question that males and females should be respectively asking is this one. 'Will this training and competition help me to become more masculine/feminine?' Will it equip me to develop the characteristics that Scripture says I should be cultivating in my life? If you can’t answer that question, you shouldn’t be doing it.
And if you are thinking about pursuing a sport that is dominated by lesbians, then perhaps it would be wise to pause and reflect for a moment. The only reason some guys like to watch two women fight is because he gets to see two women with next to nothing on for the price of watching just one. No good man wants to watch women fight. He doesn't want to watch her fight another woman and he doesn't want to watch her have to fight a man. And she should not be training to be a sister soldier, at least not by doing what the men are doing. She is a sister soldier when she fights on her front lines, but that is the domestic theater of the war, not the foreign theater. She fights by submitting to her design. She fights by raising arrows and providing something worth defending. She has a battle to fight, but she does not do it by throwing punches at someone else's daughter while in a ring wearing her underwear in front of a bunch of strangers. That is not ladylike.

The only thing worse than watching a woman lose a fight is watching her win one. As bad as it is to see her beat up, it is worse to see her boasting after beating someone else up. A beaten bride inspires sympathy and encourages the best in a man to rise up to defend her, but when her attacked is a woman with a loud mouth and a louder personality, especially after a "win," it brings out the worst in a man.

day no. 17,452: too good at golf
"If we keep the prohibition of Deuteronomy 22:5 in mind, this has direct application for women in such sports. 'The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.' This text prohibits cross-dressing for men, but it also bans women from putting on 'the gear of a warrior' (keli geber). If women shouldn’t be placed in combat roles, and they shouldn’t be, then they shouldn’t be in warlike training. College football would be out, for example... While certain forms of athletic competition are both lawful and useful for girls, there is no reason to believe that it should occupy the same importance for girls as it does for boys. The prohibition from Deuteronomy is not saying that a woman can never put on a bullet proof vest, but it is saying that she should not be in the habit of wearing one. She can protect herself if the trouble comes to her door and she can have a basic understanding of how the tools of liberty work and where they are kept and how they are handled, but she should not be an expert. She can only do so much and becoming an expert at reloading magazines comes at the cost of being better at making biscuits. On the flip side, men should not be too good at golf. Golf is hard and it requires a lot of time and dedication and money to excel at. If you are too good at gold, that is really too bad. Something, if not some things, are suffering badly from neglect. All that time swinging a club came from somewhere.
That said, competition and physical prowess and gamesmanship are transferable skills that men can and should learn in athletic areas. Men were made for pitting their strength against another. It sharpens them, like iron upon iron. Women were made to help. They need older women to help them learn how to love their husbands and children and the older women need help keeping up with the homes they've kept up with for decades.
Everything does not need to be equally important to be as important as it should. A man does not need to care as much about baking a cake or cooking dinner than a wife does and a wife does not need to care about football as much as her man does, but both benefit from caring about that which God has given them to sharpen them in their respective roles.

day no. 17,451: feminism: a crash course in blessing the curses of others and cursing your own
Genesis 3:16
Unto the woman he said, "I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
Part of the curse of Eve is the temptation to believe that the curse of Adam is superior.

Feminism, not content with its own curse, clamors for the curse of Adam. It wrongly asserts that his privileges are greater than his responsibilities and falsely assumes that the woman's responsibilities are not privileges.
Feminism blesses the curses of Adam and curses the blessings of Eve.

Is conflict good or bad? If we disagree over the nature of conflict, is that conflict permitted? Lump it in with those who hate hate and are intolerant of intolerance. The micro-aggression mongers show that they know how to make big deals out of little things. They also know how to create conflict in their effort to reduce other kinds of conflict. What is comes down to is the conflict that gets them what they want and the kind that gets them angry. In other words, the kind of conflict they can win and the kind that they cannot.

Women in positions of leadership is a sign of God's wrath. Oppression is the only result of female liberation movements. Women are less free when women rule than when men do. The masculine ideal is better equipped to govern both sexes than the feminine ideal. The feminine ideal has its place and it is good and proper in it, but it is tyrannical and oppressive when it get promoted beyond its ability. The feminine mystique on steroids does not produce a better woman. It does not make her more beautiful, but less. It does not make her as strong as men, it only makes her about as ugly as one.

All cultures are covenantal.
As such, covenant breakers cannot create a culture, they can only feed off an existing one. In that way, they are like locust. They can eat the produce of a land, but they cannot plant. They can only pillage and plunder. Covenant breakers can, like the prodigal, devour a culture, but they cannot create one. They can spend their inheritance, but they cannot save one or pass one down to their offspring.
The family is the first and foundational covenantal reality with which everyone comes into contact. It is there that we learn how to depend on others to do their duty while being dependable in the execution of our own duties. It is there that we learn that we do not need the State to survive, we simply need them to pick up the phone when lethal force is required.

day no. 17,350: atomistic or adamistic

Men are not atomistic, they are Adamistic. They are not made without respect to others like individual widgets on an assembly line, they are made as sons and daughters in a covenantal line. Families are fundamental. Every one is born under the headship of another. No one is born outside of a covenantal reality. As such, we are not individuals, we are, as Rene Girard has noted, interviduals.
The building blocks of society are not individual souls, but independent households. As image bearers, we are molecular, not atomistic. The State wants to destroy our molecular bonds, but since it cannot win a war against reality, it settles for the same subtlety that Satan employed in Eden. It preaches radical individualism reinforced by individual votes. It tries to convince us that freedom is found in being your own god and that obedience to a head is offensive.
Husbands are the heads of their wives and parents are the heads of their children. The civil magistrate is the representative head of those households.

day no. 17,336: a longhouse headache

Men were made to be responsible. Many do not like that and try to abdicate, but that just leaves their responsibilities to fall on others's shoulders. But whose fault is that? Men's. Men can be irresponsible, but they cannot be aresponsible. They do not have the ability to avoid that weight. And everyone knows it.

Matriarchy is not women ruling, it is men ruling poorly. Men cannot NOT rule. They can only rule well or not so well. The feminists know this. They hate men for leading and then they hate men for failing to lead. They do this because they hate men, not because they hate authority or responsibility. They want to separate what God has joined together. They want to possess authority without having to take responsibility. They are at war with reality. They want to live according to a new dictionary, but they want men to live according to the old one.
They want to blast a man for opening a door for a lady and they want him to pay child support he abandons her. They want him to pay for the abortion and they want him to pay for the wedding.

day no. 17,324: women in the workplace

Womanhood in the workplace is tyrannical because women in the workplace is a tyranny. It is not a matter of women being allowed into the workforce as much as it is women being forced into the workforce by abdicating fathers and abandoning husbands. Women were marched into the workplace long before they marched to secure a place there.
So, like Chesterton, I agree. Women in the workplace is less than ideal.

Feminists want to turn women into men. They want the standards of men applied to women and the rewards of masculinity available to feminists. I, like Chesterton, want that tyranny toppled. No one should be held to someone else's standard. Each servant should answer to his or her master and not for his or her fellow servants.
Romans 14:4
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
So, a woman should not be held to a man's standard in the workplace and a man should not be held to a woman's standard in the classroom. But both should answer to God and strive to live according to His standards for them respective to their posts.

When men fail to work, women must fill the void. When men are willing to let others starve, others either need to get to work or starve.

Women in the workplace would be necessary if husbands went home to their wives and fathers went home to their children. Men must go to work, but they also must come home when they are done. When the men abandon their posts, it is only natural that the the women will unnaturally abandon theirs.

day no. 17,232: feminism is the white flag of feminine

Women apparently agree. They like being who they are and doing what they like, but all of them as a group have begun to despise what women were made for. They resent their biology and envy the livelihood of the man. Feminism is the confession that femininity has failed. It is a concession speech. It is the white flag of domesticity. At least, it would be white if someone would have stayed home to bleach it. As it is, it is a rather dingy yellow and looks as though it would make things dirtier by touching them instead of cleaner. In that regard, it is a good metaphor for feminism, which only makes beauty uglier while contributing no added strength to masculinity.

Feminism has conceded that the workplace is the only thing that matters. While men used to work hard to provide for a wife and kids at home, the woman now insists on being next to him providing enough for them to pay some other woman to watch their kids.

Feminism has so elevated the ability to make money that it has abandoned the feminine ideal of making home.

By the woman attempting to join — or in some cases take — the place of the man, no one is left to take the place of the woman. In this, everyone is agreed that no one wants to be feminine or subscribe to the feminine ideals. If a man sees the need and attempts to fill the void with his effeminacy, he does not succeed. Effeminacy is not femininity. A man cannot be wife. He is excluded from doing so by definition. He can do the dishes, change the diapers, and stay home with the kids, but he isn't a mother. He is not a homemaker. He cannot be.

day no. 17,205: matriarchy is a failed patriarchy

In other words, patriarchy is inescapable. Where we see women leading it is because men are retreating. Matriarchy is built on the foundation of failing fathers. Women lead either where they are forced to because of a vacuum or where they are asked to because of cowardice. In a climate of effeminacy, women are better suited for the work. An effeminate man is not as good as a regular ol' woman and so the pulpits eventually, in an attempt at honesty, pick the lady preacher over the gay pastor because she is better at it than he is.
Where men have abandoned their posts altogether or prefer to sit rather than stand in the posts to which they have been appointed, someone will have to stand there. If dad takes his hands off the wheel, it is not shocking when mom reaches over and grabs it. If he pulls over, gets out, and begin to walk away, it is not shocking that she scoots over and takes over the driver's seat entirely. This is understandable, but it is damnable. Lazy men put women in an impossible position.
To end where we began, women leading is a sign of men retreating and no man can boast in that kind of cowardice. He can blame the women for being grabby, but he cannot excuse his inability to keep them from reaching around him. When the patriarchy is a gaytriarchy, a matriarchy is the logical next step down.
