Psalm 62
It is one thing to wait for someone and
another thing to wait for them in silence. I can wait for my kids, but it
usually is accompanied by reminders and exhortations to hurry up. It is another
thing to humbly wait, to avoid rushing or spurring, but simply to wait trusting
the timing and pace of the One for whom you wait. That is faith-- waiting in
silence.
