Ecclesiastes 11:3

If a tree falls to the south or to the north,

in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie.

One way or another every tree eventually falls; and when it does, it stays where it lands. So too, every man, woman and child will someday die; and when they do, they will remain forever in the state which they fell: in grace or in disgrace.
