Exodus 26:1-14, 33
And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy.
The first 14 verses of this chapter are dedicated to extensive detail regarding the curtains to be used in the construction of the tabernacle. And then this 33rd verse concerns itself in particular with the veil that would cover the Most Holy Place. As much detail as we observe in these verses, it pales in comparison to the detail God put into preparing and providing the true Curtain.
Hebrews 10:19-20
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh
Jesus' body was the true and perfect curtain that bridges the gap between God and man. His flesh was ripped and torn into pieces in order to dispel the distance between us, reconciling God and man, heaven and earth by His perfect life and sacrifice death.
The Heavenly groom lifted the bridal veil so that the newly married couple could see each other face to face.
I don't think I will ever get tired of learning all the ways in which Jesus is the substance of the Old Testament shadows.
