The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me;
Your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of Your hands.
The Gospel is not merely a New Testament invention. Grace by faith in God alone has been and always will be plan A and there is no plan B.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
That verse in Thessalonians is such a comfort. I didn't realize there was another verse in Psalms with the same ironclad promise!
