...and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Man is at his essence but dust.
When it is all said and done he returns to his humble beginnings.
God took dust and formed man.
He breathed His life into the dust and made man a living spirit-filled dust-formed body.
When it's all over, the body returns to dust and the spirit returns to God.
And just as it is appointed for people to die once—and after this, judgment...
Because of sin, we all die.
But because of Christ, we may live.

...so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.
