Leviticus 1:4
He shall lay his hand on the head of the
burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
Leviticus is a long book of lots of rules,
but don't miss the heart behind the hoops: acceptance and atonement. God wants
to accept His people. He wants to be at one with them. He has provided a way to
approach holiness. He has made a way to stare directly into the sun without
being undone.
