Pilate said to them, “You have a guard of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.”

Even at our best and with our most we cannot corral God and "as secure as you can" is not secure enough.

We roll large stones of self-righteousness and sinful rebellion in front of the graves where we tuck God away.

Our securities are shattered, however, by a slain Son rising from the dead.

Self-assured is unsecure and "as secure as you can" quite simply CAN'T.
