Revelation 12:11-12
11 They conquered him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony,
for they did not love their lives
in the face of death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens,
and you who dwell in them!
Woe to the earth and the sea,
for the Devil has come down to you
with great fury,
because he knows he has a short time.

The cross of Christ and the empty tomb 3 days on the other side of it were clear signs to Satan that his time was soon coming to an end. So as ferocious as he was prior to that event, he is all the more intent now on discouraging and attacking and warring against those who by faith make themselves white in the blood of the Lamb.
Time is running out for everyone.
Each day is closer to our last.
Every moment is ushering us closer to eternity.
The Devil’s response in light of such things is to get more intense and active and tenacious.
