Believing in heaven does not guarantee that you will go there anymore than believing in roads gets you anywhere.

A person’s trust in road signs is made perfect in their plodding forward. Not only does that person confirm that they actually want to go where the signs are pointing, but also that they trust inherently the signs to point them faithfully to their destination.
