Hebrews 6:17-20
17 So when God desired to show
more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable
character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath,18 so
that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to
lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold
fast to thehope set before us. 19 We have this as
a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the
inner place behind the curtain,20 where Jesus has gone as a
forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever
after the order of Melchizedek.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21
18 All this is from God, who
through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of
reconciliation;19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world
to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us
the message of reconciliation.20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for
Christ, God making his appeal through us.We implore you on behalf of
Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake
he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become
the righteousness of God.
